Dr. Sefakor Atadja is the founder and the heart behind this foundation. Inspired by her upbringing in Ghana, she established the organization to help provide essential school supplies to underserved students in rural communities.

In many villages, children enter classrooms each day without basic materials such as pencils, notebooks, and erasers—items that are fundamental to learning. Dr. Atadja witnessed these challenges firsthand during her childhood and understands how limited resources can affect a student’s confidence, engagement, and long-term opportunities.

As Dr. Atadja pursued her education and eventually her career, she never forgot the communities that molded her. She is motivated by her own experiences; she has committed herself to giving back to the communities that shaped her. Through Sefa Foundation, Dr. Atadja works to ensure that students in need have access to the tools required not only to succeed academically, but to build brighter futures.
